简介(Biography):

王妙辉,香港中文大学博士、助理教授,深圳市海外高层次人才。2010-2011,于航天科工集团(上海)担任高级工程师,从事“XXX”精密设备研发工作。2014-2015,于美国InterDigital公司加利福尼亚州圣地亚哥创新实验室,从事视频编码国际化标准工作。2015-2017,于TCL香港研究院担任资深工程师,从事计算机视觉于机器学习算法优化工作。他曾获得上海市优秀毕业生,上海市优秀研究生成果奖,最佳会议论文奖(AHIP 2018) ,以及国内、国际会议算法类竞赛奖(China MM2018,ICME 2019),深圳市孔雀高层次人才(C类)等等。
他现主持的国家、省、市级纵向科研经费超过350万人民币,参与已结题的国家自然科学基金、香港RGC/ITF基金等项目总额超过1000万人民币。他在视觉信息处理和计算机视觉方面已发表了30多篇论文,其中包括多篇顶级期刊和顶级会议如T-IP, T-CSVT, T-MM, CVPR, ICCV(详见个人主页链接)。个人主页:https://charwill.github.io/ (个人最新消息参见此网页)

Dr. Miaohui Wang (S’13-M’16) received the Ph.D. degree in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Ngan King Ngi (IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, National Thousand Talents Program) from Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), PRC. From October 2014 to March 2015, he was a visiting scholar with the Innovation Laboratory, InterDigital Inc., San Diego, CA, USA. Since December 2015, He was senior research engineer working on implementing machine learning algorithms at The Creative Life (TCL) Research Institute of Hong Kong until joined Shenzhen University as an assistant professor in 2017. Now, He is with College of Information Engineering, Shenzhen University (SZU).

He was the recipient of the Best Thesis Award of Shanghai (Ministry of Education of Shanghai City) and Fudan University in 2012, PRC. He has authored or co-authored numerous technical papers in international journals and conferences. His current research interests cover a wide range of topics related with image/video compression, transmission and analysis, computer vision and machine learning. He is a member of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.
